The UrlyWhirly™ can reduce cplashback 7X over grass mat and 17X over no product via spin and entrained air flow. Mechanism: The spinner’s combined effects lower effective Weber number and normal impact angles, eliminating the crown-splash regime most of the time (≈17× cut over empty urinal). Grass mats only offer passive wetting/porosity; they don’t actively remove momentum or redirect the jet. Active interception + redirection + dissipation explains the ≈7× improvement over grass mats.
